Charles Summerfield aka “Rhinosaverz”
Charles Summerfield aka “Rhinosaverz” has really dedicated his life to save our wildlife. He has been singing since he was 13 when he had his first television debut. From that moment on Charles has continued to create music and has performed with a multitude of artists from all over the world, on stages all over the world. Charles’ music is a fusion of afro-balkan-jazz-latino-world styles. His talent extends to singing in about 11 different languages. This incredible singer and songwriter has performed at the Harare International Festival of the Arts for many years, and at the FIFA Fanwalk 2010. He was also the musical director for the Zimbabwe Colour Run 2013. He performs at events, private functions, and festivals. Charles’ band- the URJ (Unlimited Resources of Joy) is always a collaboration between the finest musicians that Charles hand selects. Notable collaborators have been Oliver Mtukudzi, Chiwoniso Maraire and Reggae star Luciano. His music and original songs promote a greener, and more environmentally friendly world. Charles gives back to the community through his music, performing for Charities, this year, Iris House and Reach for Recovery. He has also donated a song to the Peres Centre for Peace who are launching the Nelson Mandela Online University commissioned by actress Sharon Stone and politician Uri Savir. He has written and continues to perform a song dedicated to the conservation of the African Rhino’s.
