Bethanie Carney Almroth from The Perfect World Foundation attended Nairobi and the United Nations Environment Assembly! Bethanie had the honour to be one of the speakers on the meeting, and she reports the following: “Plastics is a global issue that needs to be solved internationally”

“Here it will be important to include actors in different parts of society – authorities, politicians, industry, NGOs, activist organizations, academics, etc.”  TPWF sees this as a big step in the right direction, though mentioning NGO’s as important actors, has never been done before.
