Emojis are said to be the world’s first global language. Yet, when we look at the emojis available across platforms today, one disturbing detail hit us. The elephant emoji usually does not have tusks.

Elephants will be extinct in ten years if the poaching doesn’t stop. An elephant is killed for their tusks every 15 minutes. Today, many EMOJI ELEPHANTS don’t have tusks. We’d like to change that, and as a result raise awareness about the ruthless killing and ivory trade taking place across the globe. The tusks should be where they belong – as elephants are #worthmorealive.
